The Wellington Museum has the only good condition remains of a giant squid ever recovered. (At least, as of Oct 2013.) I was filling in a spare couple of hours by visiting the museum, and when I saw this on the exhibit listing, well it was forget the giant Moa birds and interactive multimedia story construction, I know where I need to be!
